AIMS & OBJECTIVES

The main objectives of the Organization and the activities incidental to & supplementary for its achievement as broadly classified under Five (5) Major Heads are as under:

 Main aims and objectives: To promote/ensure all-round development/welfare of the persons with Multiple Disabilities having Hearing and/or Visual Impairment with Associated Disabilities (herein after referred to as Disabled Persons), so as to make them self-sufficient and self- proof; through a joint and collective efforts by creating a common platform/common bonding within the jurisdiction and under the governance of applicable Act, Rules, By-laws & Enactments in force from time to time and for achievement of these main aims and objectives to take up the following  activities.

(i)  Social: To do activities and functions beneficial to the Society as a whole and provide financial assistance and educational & medical facilities to the weaker/neglected section of the Society in due recognition of social obligations towards the Society along with the Disabled Persons.

(ii)  Educational: To provide need-cum-ability based education, training for the Disabled Persons and arrange for their and rehabilitation. To take up research operations on the root cause of the various disabilities, treatment and preventive measures thereon and to create awareness amongst the Parents and Public at large and educate them about the same.

(iii)  Medical: To set up Diagnostic Center and arrange for Medical facilities, organize Health awareness programs/conferences and to participate in researches going on at National/International level on Disabilities and to create awareness about the same among the public.

 (iv)   Cultural: To celebrate National events/festivals with the involvement of Disabled Persons and to conduct variety entertainment programs so as to inculcate in them a sense of National Integration.

(v)  Financial: To acquire/create  the sources of fund solely to promote and support the defined Activities of the Organization and to ensure functioning of the Organization smoothly  and uninterruptedly with the motivation of serving the charitable cause and not for any profit or revenue generation  and without any violations of the applicable Law and Rules & Regulations.
